Stan, why did it take you so long to decide to set up your own business?

“Good question, it’s not that I hadn’t thought about it before, I guess it was just a matter of finding the right time.

As it happens I found that time in 2009, it was then that I saw the value of over 30 years experience in the telecom industry installing, commissioning and maintaining a broad range of telephone systems, Avaya, Alcatel, Siemens, Panasonic, and BT  to name but a few.

I also realised that many of the end users I had worked with over the years appreciated the advice and support I’d been able to give and I believed that Aberdeen had space for a company offering telecom products and support whose experience was built on a solid engineering foundation, so I set up a business which would make engineering the difference and called it Calsar”.
